Ballasts, Inverters

Ballasts, Inverters Inverters are devices designed to provide a large output voltage, usually in the range of 100 to 1000 volts, using a small input voltage, anywhere from 1.5 volts to 24 Volts. These devices are most often used in specific backlighting situations for cold cathode fluorescent lamps, ultraviolet lamps and Electroluminescent wire. Inverter termination is often a pre-installed connector or through hole mounting pc pins on a small form factor board.
